SusMax conducts its fourth customer trial in collaboration with Schuster concrete
SusMaX was thrilled to conduct lightweight aggregate trials in collaboration with Schuster Concrete. Our team, including founder Mo Balapour, Ph.D., and Robin Deb, Ph.D., visited Schuster Concrete to test our innovative aggregates in concrete applications. We were also excited to connect with Henry Prenger, P.E., FACI of Holcim US. We extend our gratitude to Robert Buelt for facilitating this trial and making it possible.
At SusMaX, we transform unrecycled waste products from coal-fired power plants, such as off-sec Fly Ash and Bottom Ash, into unique lightweight aggregates suitable for concrete. These waste products, often deemed unsuitable for traditional uses such as supplementary cementitious materials, and are repurposed to create sustainable building materials. Our collaboration with Schuster Concrete, a leader in sustainable materials, marks an important step in our commercialization efforts. We are excited to be working with Schuster Concrete, contributing to the advancement of environmentally friendly construction practices, and pushing the boundaries of sustainable material technology.
